RICHMOND, Ind. — Earlham College first-year
Joy Doucette was named North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for women’s soccer on Sunday night.
Doucette scored two of Earlham’s three goals last week as the Quakers qualified for the NCAC Tournament for the first time in school history.
She scored Earlham's only goal in Wednesday’s 1-1 double overtime tie at Kenyon that kept the Quakers alive for the post-season.
On Saturday, Doucette tied the
Ohio Wesleyan University match with a score in the second half that helped the Quakers to a 2-1 victory over the Bishops.
For the season, Doucette leads the Quakers in scoring with six goals and five assists.
Earlham (11-6-1, 4-3-1) visits
Denison University (15-2-2, 7-0-1) on Tuesday in the opening round of the NCAC Tournament at 7 p.m.
