Asingura Named NCAC Player of the Week

RICHMOND, Ind. — Bannet Asingura was honored by the North Coast Athletic Conference on Tuesday as the Player of the Week for men’s soccer.
Asingura had four of Earlham’s five goals as he led the Quakers to a pair of wins last week. He scored the only goal in Earlham’s 1-0 win over conference foe
Oberlin College on Matlack Field as the Quakers claimed the Freedom Trophy last Saturday.
In a 4-1 victory at
Manchester College earlier in the week, Asingura had three goals. He now leads the Quakers with nine goals this fall.
Earlham (6-3-2, 1-1) travels to the
College of Wooster on Saturday. The NCAC match is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m.
