Quakers Fall to Wooster

Alicia Kees led the Quakers with 10 assists against Wooster.
RICHMOND, Ind. The Earlham College volleyball team finished the weekend Saturday with a 25-15, 25-16, 25-20 loss to the College of Wooster on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center.

Ramona Hemmings and Andrea Thompson led the Quakers with six kills apiece, while Deborah Adkins added five.

Alicia Kees led the Quakers with 10 assists and Ashlee Heberger finished with seven. Elizabeth Ross topped the squad with 11 digs. Nikki Darrett contributed eight digs.

Earlham (3-16, 1-5) returns to action on Wednesday at Transylvania University. The non-conference match gets underway at 7 p.m.

Women's Basketball
Emily Sells scored 11 points against Transylvania University in an 84-80 loss on Feb. 1.

She posted team-high numbers with seven rebounds, six assists and three steals in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference contest on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center.

Ryan Taylor led Earlham with 19 points against nationally-ranked Transylvania University as the Quakers fell 89-76 to the Pioneers, who are ranked 18th in the latest d3hoops.com poll .

The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference game was in Lexington on Feb.1.
