RICHMOND, Ind. — Earlham College senior
Callie Thompson was honored by the North Coast Athletic Conference on Sunday as the Player of the Week for women’s soccer.
Thompson scored two goals and added an assist for the Quakers in Saturday’s 4-1 Homecoming win over
Hiram College on Matlack Field. She now has four goals this season.
The first score came on a penalty kick and the second gave the Quakers a 3-0 lead against Hiram. In the second period, Thompson assisted on
Cate Simmermaker score, which was the last of the contest.
The Quakers (10-6, 3-3), who are tied for fourth in the NCAC with Kenyon College and Ohio Wesleyan University, are on the road to end the regular season against the two squads this week.
Earlham visits Kenyon on Wednesday for a match at 4 p.m. The Quakers are at Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday for a contest at 7 p.m.
