RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College volleyball team finished the North Coast Athletic Conference with a pair of losses on Sunday.
Allegheny College defeated Earlham 25-19, 25-21, 25-19 before the Quakers fell 25-17, 19-25, 25-15, 25-20 to
Oberlin College.
In the opener against the Gators (13-13, 7-5),
Elizabeth Ross led the Quakers with seven kills.
Keeley McAnnis-Entenman and
Andrea Thompson had six each.
Alicia Kees had 11 assists for the Quakers, while
Ashlee Heberger contributed 10.
Thompson led the squad nine digs and three aces. Ross also had three aces to go with a team-high five blocks.
Against Oberlin (12-13, 5-6), Ross led the way with nine kills with
Nikki Darrett adding eight. Heberger topped the Quakers with 18 assists with Kees finishing with 10.
Darrett led Earlham with 13 digs, while McAnnis-Entenman had 12 and Thompson ended with 10. Ross had four blocks.
The Quakers (4-22, 2-10) entertain Oberlin College on Saturday in the Athletics and Wellness Center. The Homecoming contest on Schuckman Court gets underway at 4 p.m.
