Quakers Ranked No. 7 in Great Lakes Region
RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College women's soccer team entered the regional rankings for the National Soccer Coaches Association of America on Tuesday.

The Quakers (9-3, 2-0 in the North Coast Athletic Conference) are No. 7 in the Great Lakes Region, but are not ranked in the national poll.

Earlham faces No. 2 Denison University (10-2-1, 3-0) Wednesday afternoon on Matlack Field. The Big Red are No. 20 in the national rankings. The NCAC match begins at 4 p.m.

Ryan Taylor led Earlham with 19 points against nationally-ranked Transylvania University as the Quakers fell 89-76 to the Pioneers, who are ranked 18th in the latest d3hoops.com poll .

The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference game was in Lexington on Feb.1.

Women's Basketball
Emily Sells scored 11 points against Transylvania University in an 84-80 loss on Feb. 1.

She posted team-high numbers with seven rebounds, six assists and three steals in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference contest on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center.
