Allegheny Defeats Quakers

Keeley McAnnis-Entenman led the Quakers with nine kills on Saturday against Allegheny.
MEADVILLE, Pa. — The Earlham College volleyball team dropped a North Coast Athletic Conference match on Saturday to Allegheny College 25-19, 25-15, 25-22.

Keeley McAnnis-Entenman topped Earlham with nine kills, while Ramona Hemmings finished with seven kills.

Elizabeth Ross added six kills and led the Quakers with three blocks. Nikki Darrett led the Quakers with 12 digs.

Ashlee Heberger had 17 assists for the Quakers with Alicia Kees contributing 11 assists. Aleta Cox added three service aces.

Earlham (3-19, 1-7) entertains Hiram College next Saturday in the opener of the NCAC Power Weekend. The match on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center begins at 10 a.m.

Women's Basketball
Emily Sells scored 11 points against Transylvania University in an 84-80 loss on Feb. 1.

She posted team-high numbers with seven rebounds, six assists and three steals in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference contest on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center.

Ryan Taylor led Earlham with 19 points against nationally-ranked Transylvania University as the Quakers fell 89-76 to the Pioneers, who are ranked 18th in the latest d3hoops.com poll .
