Erica Lemm enters her first year as the associate director of athletics at Earlham College for the 2017-18 academic year.
Lemm comes to Earlham from Rosemont College (Pennsylvania) where she served as assistant director of athletics since September of 2016. At Rosemont, Lemm was responsible for the day-to-day operations of 13 varsity athletics programs as well as being the department's compliance officer. Lemm also gained experience monitoring recruiting efforts, overseeing academic process for student-athletes, and managing game day operations.
Prior to Rosemont, Lemm spent two years as assistant director of athletics and senior woman administrator at Yeshiva University in New York City. She was responsible for supervision of seven varsity programs as well as overseeing NCAA and conference compliance, event management, scheduling, and facilities. Lemm was also involved with the internship program and the student-athlete advisory committee (SAAC) at Yeshiva. Lemm also served as championship director for the 2016 NCAA Northeast Fencing Regional.
Before arriving at Yeshiva, Lemm spent three years at Washtenaw Community College (Michigan) as the sports coordinator. She oversaw the intramural program has well as aiding in the addition of five new programs including a men's ice hockey team. Lemm was also Washtenaw's head women's soccer coach for the 2014 season.
An active member in the NCAA/Women Leaders in College Sports (formally NACWAA) since 2015, Lemm has been a part of the Title IX & Directors of Operations Circles as well as attending the Institute for Administrative Advancement in June of 2016 and the Leadership Symposium in May of 2015.
Lemm, who has both bachelor's and master's degrees from Central Michigan University, will oversee compliance as well as the day-to-day operations of the College's 20 varsity athletics programs. She begins her Earlham tenure on Aug. 3.
