Cathryn Dickman enters her fourth year as the director of wellness programs at Earlham College for the 2017-18 academic year.
As director of wellness programs, Dickman oversees all aspects of the college's wellness program including fitness/wellness programming, marketing, budget, facilities, membership, and aquatics. She also manages the Athletics and Wellness Center's daily operations.
Dickman came to Earlham College in 2008 to serve as the assistant director of wellness programs and director of recreational sports, a position she held until the 2013 school year.
Prior to coming to Earlham, Dickman was in Corporate Fitness Management at The National Institute for Fitness and Sport in Indianapolis from 2005-08. In that role, Dickman assessed the health status of members, ranging from apparently healthy to high risk, to provide exercise and other wellness-related counsel/recommendations unique to the individual. She also assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of NIFS and client-led programs and services.
A native of Vevay, Indiana, she received her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Ball State University in 2005 and her master's degree from the IU Fairbanks School of Public Health in 2013.
Dickman and her husband, Alex, reside in Richmond with their daugthers Leighton and Ashten.
